Pendant lights made of wood or bamboo give a natural look because they are made from natural products. Because they are made of wood, most pendant lights are light in colour, which adds a pleasant, light impression to your interior.
A wood or bamboo pendant lamp for every interior
Wooden and bamboo pendant lights go well with other calm colours such as grey, white and black. This makes the lamps easy to combine with many types of interiors. You don't need to have a completely wooden interior to hang a wooden lamp in it. It often also fits well with an industrial or minimalist interior.
Which wooden pendant lights are popular?
If you like a calm, modern or designer interior, a wooden pendant lamp can add a lot.
Rustic pendant lights with wood
The country style often features wood. This makes sense, as the country style seeks to incorporate influences from nature.
Round wooden pendant lights
As the name suggests, round wooden pendant lights are lights that are round. This makes it seem as if the light is distributed very evenly throughout the room.
Bamboo pendant lights
Bamboo pendant lamps give your interior a soft and refined look.
How do you install a pendant lamp?
Our pendant lights are connected to the mains, so you will need to connect them to the mains with a cable. In most cases, you will probably already have a hole in the ceiling with electrical wires coming out of it. Install the pendant lamp as follows:
- Switch off the power to the circuit where you will be installing the lamp. Then check this with a voltage tester.
- Attach the mounting bracket by turning the screws into the ceiling.
- Connect the electrical wires. Connect the blue and Black wires from the terminal block to the blue and Black wires from the pendant lamp. It does not matter which wires go where.
- Attach the pendant lamp to the mounting bracket. You do this by screwing it onto the sides of the bracket.
- Tighten everything securely.
- Insert the bulb.
- Turn the power back on and check that it works.
