Looking for a light bulb? A matching bulb is crucial to the look of your lamp. At LumenXL you will find LED bulbs in all common lamp holders, from E27 to GU10.
The right bulb can make all the difference to the look of your lamp. That is why we have put together a selection of bulbs to suit different fittings and styles. With fittings that have glass or an open lamp holder in particular, where you can see the bulb, it largely determines the overall look. Take a look at our wide range and find the bulb you are looking for.
E27 bulbs are the most common and fit most lamps. GU10 bulbs are used for spotlights and track lighting. E14 bulbs have a smaller screw fitting for compact lamps. G9 bulbs are small and compact, making them suitable for designer lamps. AR111 bulbs are large spotlight bulbs with a G53 fitting. GX53 bulbs are flat bulbs for low recessed spotlights. Festoon bulbs are specially made for outdoor festoon lighting. And smart bulbs can be operated via an app.
E27 and GU10 refer to the type of fitting on the bulb. Which one you need therefore depends on the fitting in your lamp, which is always listed in the product details. The "E" means the bulb has a screw base, and "27" refers to the diameter of the screw thread: 27 mm. A GU10 bulb is not screwed in; you push it into the fitting and turn it a quarter turn to lock it in place.
The bulb fitting is one thing, the size of the bulb is another. With glass globes or small shades in particular, a Ø45 mm bulb may fit while a Ø60 mm bulb does not. If in doubt, measure the space inside your fitting, or check the product details of your lamp for the recommended bulb size.
The colour temperature of white bulbs is expressed in Kelvin. The lower the number, the warmer the light. 2200K is similar to candlelight and gives an extra warm white, 2700K is warm white and creates a cosy atmosphere, while 4000K is cool white and works well in kitchens, bathrooms or workspaces. Choose warm white for living rooms and bedrooms, and cool white where you need to see clearly. Order before 14:00 for same-day shipping.
