Dimming without a dimmer

The 3-step dimmable LED bulb has a built-in dimming function. You can easily adjust the brightness using the on/off switch, without making any changes to your wiring. This is particularly useful with a G9 bulb, which is often used in designer fittings without their own dimmer.

How does it work?

You can dim the brightness to three levels: 100%, 50% and 7%. Briefly switch the light off and on again using the wall switch to move to the next brightness level. If you hold the switch in the off position for longer, the lamp switches off. When you switch it back on, the bulb remembers the last brightness setting you selected.

Note: no external dimmer

Important: this bulb is not compatible with external dimmers. The dimming function is built into the bulb, so you should not use a separate dimmer with it. If your fitting has several G9 bulbs, they all switch to the same brightness level at the same time.

If you want the same convenience elsewhere in your home, 3-step dimmable E27, E14 and GU10 bulbs are available too. The light colour is measured in Kelvin: the lower the number, the warmer the light colour.
