Everything in one order

A complete festoon lighting set contains the cable with fitted bulb sockets, sealing rings, plug, end piece and bulbs. Once it arrives, you only have to screw the bulbs into the bulb sockets, hang the cable and enjoy. The festoon cable is also plug and play: the bulb sockets with sealing rings, plug and end piece are already fitted.

Which set suits you?

Warm white sets are the classic choice, giving you cosy light above your patio. Glass sets have filament bulbs behind glass for a vintage look. Coloured sets create a festive look. Sets with caps have decorative shades above the bulbs. Dimmable sets include a dimmer, so you can control the atmosphere. Non-dimmable sets are cheaper if you do not plan to dim the lighting.

Which length and how many bulb sockets?

The length of the festoon cable, for example 5 metres, refers to the distance between the plug and the end piece. With 5-metre festoon cables, there is 50 cm between the plug and the first bulb socket. With 10 metres, this is 1 metre, and with 15 to 100 metres, it is 1.5 metres. If you find the distance to the first bulb socket too short, you can order an extension cable. With most sets, you can choose between 1, 2, 3 or 4 bulb sockets per metre. Most customers choose 2 bulb sockets per metre.

Which wattage do you choose?

Want soft ambient lighting? Then choose bulbs of 0.7 or 1W. A 1W bulb gives 60 lm and replaces an 8W incandescent bulb. Want real light rather than just atmosphere? Then choose 2W, which gives 130 lm and replaces a 20W incandescent bulb.

Durable and easy to replace

The bulbs with an E27 bulb socket have an almost unbreakable polycarbonate shade. The LED bulbs are energy-efficient and have a long lifespan. If a bulb should unexpectedly break, you can easily replace it. Take a look at the separate festoon bulbs. The cable is easy to attach with a mounting set or cable ties.
