Want to bring extra atmosphere to your garden, party or hospitality venue? This festoon light set with 1W filament LED bulbs in a warm colour temperature is perfect for the job. Filament is the latest development in LED technology: it recreates the cosy feel of a traditional incandescent bulb, while giving you the very low energy use and long lifespan of LED. From a few metres away, it looks just as if you've screwed a real incandescent bulb into the festoon cable. Every bulb is designed and made with care, with quality and durability at its heart.
The bulbs, which have an E27 base, feature a virtually unbreakable polycarbonate cover. The LED bulbs are energy-efficient and have a long lifespan. Should a bulb unexpectedly fail, you can replace it easily. The robust cables are made from sturdy rubber with copper wiring of 2 x 1.5 mm².
The total length of the connectable festoon cables is measured from the plug to the end cap and includes the connection cable. The length of the connection cable depends on the total cable length: for 5-metre and 10-metre festoon cables, it is 1 metre; for 25-metre and 50-metre festoon cables, it is 1.5 metres. The remaining cable length is fitted with sockets.
With this set, you can choose between 1 or 2 sockets per metre.
All you need to do is screw the bulbs into the sockets. As you do, check that the sealing ring closes neatly around each bulb: only then is the connection properly sealed, so no water can get into the socket through the bulb. See the manual for guidance. Once sealed, the sturdy rubber cable is ready for outdoor use. The set is also plug-and-play, with the sockets and sealing rings, the plug, and the end piece all fitted for you.
All festoon cables are connectable with each other. Thanks to the connector system, you can easily connect multiple cables together to create the desired length.
