Strong, light and beautifully structured, Sapporo is a unique pendant lamp made from woven water hyacinth. This aquatic plant originates from South America and can be used for all kinds of products, such as this handmade pendant lamp. The neutral colour and textured shade are ideal for a boho chic or rustic interior. The large shade with an open bottom ensures an even distribution of light, ideal for above the dining table. However, the lamp is also suitable for the bedroom or hallway. Wherever Sapporo hangs, the lamp is sure to create a warm atmosphere.

Technical details

The lamp is made of high-quality materials. The shade is made of water hyacinth, which comes from a water plant native to South America. The large shade has a diameter of 36 cm and a height of 25 cm. The suspension cord is 150 cm long and can easily be shortened. With a protection rating of IP20, the lamp is only suitable for indoor use.

E27 lampholder

Sapporo has one E27 lampholder and can handle a maximum wattage of 25 watts (light source not included). Depending on the chosen light source, the pendant lamp is dimmable using an external dimmer switch (not included). Are you looking for this? Then take a look at our wall dimmer switches.

We have the following E27 light bulbs in our range:

• Dimmable E27 bulbs: with these bulbs, you can adjust the light intensity with a dimmer (not included).
• Dim-to-warm E27 bulbs: the light colour of these bulbs can be easily dimmed. You can choose from various variants such as 2200-2700K or 2700-6500K. 2200K is the colour of candlelight ('extra' warm white) when dimmed and 2700K (Warm white) when not dimmed.
• 3-step dimmable E27 bulbs: thesebulbs have three light intensities and can be dimmed by pressing the light switch several times (so you don't need a dimmer).
• WiFi E27 bulbs: asmart bulb that you can control with your smartphone for any desired colour and intensity. This turns your pendant lamp into a smart pendant lamp.
