This involves a short functional test once a month and a full duration test lasting three hours once a year. The auto-test models have an indicator light that emits a constant green colour when everything is working properly. If the luminaire detects a problem during a self-test, the indicator light will change colour. The green colour will change to red to let you know that something is wrong and that action needs to be taken. The luminaires are designed to provide at least 3 hours of light from the battery in the event of a power failure.
