The more hours of sunshine the panel can capture during the day, the better the battery will be charged to release energy in the form of light in the dark. Has the lamp been able to capture little or no light on a cloudy day? Then the battery will be less full and the lamp may burn for less time in the dark, or even not give any light at all. In the winter period, the sun will not always be powerful enough for solar products to charge properly. The solar string lights will therefore burn longer in summer and shorter in winter.
