The light cord has a solar panel with a battery. During the day, the battery is charged and when it gets dark, the lamps are switched on. No sun? Then you can recharge the light cord with a USB cable (not included). The solar panel has a built-in light sensor, which automatically turns on the light in the dark. There is also a handy on/off button in case you won’t be needing light in the garden. The solar panel also features an automatic timer, which turns the lights off after 8 hours of operation. The light cord can be set in 4 different modes: standard, flashing, fast flashing and double flashing. The bulbs have a polycarbonate cover, which is close to unbreakable. In addition, LED lights have a long lifetime. In the unlikely event that one of your lamps does break, it can very easily be replaced.
