The Dimmy wall lamp is a functional outdoor lamp that runs on solar-powered energy. No more fumbling around in the dark for the outside door handle, because the Dimmy has a motion sensor and will welcome you with warm light. The Dimmy is available in two colours: black and wood effect. Both versions have a round shade with a matt and transparent finish, allowing the integrated LED light source to shine through. Solar energy is captured by the solar panel on the top of the shade.
This lamp has an IP44 rating, which makes the Dimmy splash-proof - ideal for an outdoor lamp. The depth of the lamp from the wall is 17.3 cm, the diameter of the shade is 16.5 cm and the height is 15.9 cm.
The LED light source of the Dimmy works via an internal battery and it takes approximately 7 to 9 hours for the lamp to be fully charged via the solar panel. There are three light intensities (in lumens) to choose from, which determine the total burning time of the lamp before it needs to be recharged.
The lamp has four different settings tailored to various situations. In the first setting, the lamp burns continuously with a brightness of 60 lumens, providing constant, soft lighting. The second setting combines energy saving with extra visibility: the lamp continues to burn at 60 lumens and temporarily switches to 240 lumens as soon as movement is detected, after which it automatically switches back. In the third setting, the lamp is completely switched off until movement is detected; it then switches on with a powerful light output of 600 lumens, ideal for maximum illumination at the right moment. Finally, there is the fourth setting, in which the lamp is switched off. When setting the motion sensor, you can choose your ideal light intensity for the lamp.
