A glass pendant lamp is a good choice if you want a beautiful transparent lamp. Because you can see through the glass, you can clearly see the LED bulbs you have placed in the fitting. If you have beautiful Filament bulbs, a glass lamp is a good idea.
A glass pendant lamp for every interior
There are different types of glass pendant lamps. We have chosen a sleek range with the most popular lamps. Depending on the style, the lamp will look good in an industrial, modern or even rustic interior.
Which glass pendant lights are popular?
The pendant lights below are the most popular. Take a look and see which one best suits your interior. There may be some overlap between the different styles, so it is best to look at the products themselves.
Vintage glass pendant lights
Vintage pendant lights are classic pendant lights with a modern twist. This means that they fit well in older, but also in modern interiors. Depending on the model, you can choose lamps with a completely transparent shade, which allows them to illuminate the entire room. Other lamps have a specific angle of incidence, so that the light is not directed in all directions.
Art Deco Glass pendant lamp
Art Deco is a style that originated between 1920 and 1938. These lamps are somewhat similar to vintage lamps, but are still easily recognisable. If you are looking for a pendant lamp for a slightly older interior, then an Art Deco glass pendant lamp is a good idea.
Designer glass pendant lights
Glass designer pendant lights are pendant lights with a specific design. This makes them very eye-catching when hung in a room. This means that they do not fit into just any interior style. But if you are looking for a real eye-catcher, then it is a good idea to choose this style of lamp.
How do you install a pendant lamp?
Our pendant lights are connected to the mains, so you will need to connect them to the mains with a cable. In most cases, you will probably already have a hole in the Ceiling with electrical wires coming out of it. You can install the pendant light as follows:
- Switch off the power to the circuit where you will be installing the lamp. Then check this with a voltage tester.
- Attach the mounting bracket by turning the screws into the ceiling.
- Connect the electrical wires. Connect the blue and Black wires from the terminal block to the blue and Black wires from the pendant lamp. It does not matter which wires go where.
- Attach the pendant lamp to the mounting bracket. You do this by screwing it onto the sides of the bracket.
- Tighten everything securely.
- Insert the bulb.
- Turn the power back on and check that it works.
