Filament bulbs are the latest development in LED technology, bridging the gap between the cosy glow of an old-fashioned incandescent bulb and the very low energy use and long lifespan of modern LED. The glass casing creates a distinctive lighting effect, with the filament clearly on show, making these bulbs real atmosphere-setters. About these filament bulbs:

• Choice of 2.5W or 4.5W
• Dim-to-warm: the colour temperature changes as you dim, from 2700K (warm white) to 2200K (extra warm white)
• Clear glass, 45 mm diameter, with the filament clearly visible

Dim-to-warm

Thanks to the dim-to-warm function, you can set the brightness exactly where you want it, dimming from warm white at 2700K down to an extra-warm white at 2200K. This gives you the flexibility to use the bulbs as soft ambient lighting or turn them up for a brighter glow when needed. They can be dimmed using our IP44 dimmer set with remote control 200W/350W (not included).

Please note! LED bulbs are only suitable for outdoor use in festoon cables that meet the following conditions:

• Suitable bulb sockets: only use these LED bulbs in a festoon cable that is suitable for LED bulbs. All of our festoon cables meet this requirement. If you are using a festoon cable from another supplier, check that it is suitable for LED bulbs before use. If in doubt, blow into the bulb socket (without a bulb fitted). If you can blow through it, the festoon cable is not splash-proof. In this case, we recommend replacing the festoon cable.
• Sealing ring: the bulb socket must be fitted with a sealing ring that closes neatly around the bulb. Consult the manual for correct installation.
