The lamp will switch on automatically when it is dark outside and remain on all night until it gets light again in the morning.
A solar lamp needs a lot of light during the day to charge and burn in the evening. The more hours of sunshine the solar panel can capture during the day, the better the battery will be charged to release energy in the form of light in the dark. Has the lamp been able to capture little or no light on a cloudy day? Then the battery will be less fully charged and the lamp may burn for less time in the dark, or even not give any light at all. During the winter period, the sun will therefore not always be powerful enough for solar products to charge properly. The solar table lamp will therefore burn longer in summer and shorter in winter.
Not only is the sun an important factor, but the angle at which the sun shines on the solar panel is also very important. The more perpendicular the angle, the better the battery will charge. Therefore, make sure to place the solar panel in as sunny a spot as possible, facing south. Cleaning the solar panel regularly will extend the life and burning time of your solar lamp.
Before use, fully charge the battery-powered lamp of a solar lamp. This table lamp has an on/off switch. Set the switch to 'off' and place the panel in a sunny spot. Leave the panel there for a few days (depending on the number of hours of sunshine) to allow the battery to fully charge. Then you can turn the switch to 'on' and enjoy your solar lighting in the evening. With this solar table lamp, it is also possible to charge the battery with a USB cable.
The table lamp shines on its own, but for an optimal atmosphere, combine several lamps. Or place a number of lamps as torches in the garden. The choice is yours. In our complete rangeof solar garden lighting, you will find more beautiful solar lamps to complete your garden.
