In addition to commercial purposes, track lighting is also increasingly being chosen for use in the home. With its contemporary look, our modern range of track lighting fits perfectly with today's interior design trends and is a luxurious addition to your home. The great thing about track lighting is that it is a modular system. You can click the spotlights into place anywhere on the track.

Adjusting and attaching the track lighting

This set consists of 4 x 75 cm rails, including one connection block and four end caps, 3 x straight connectors and 1 x 90-degree connector, and mounting materials. With the included connectors, you can form a straight rail or create an L-shape. This leaves you with one connector. This extra connector is not included in the total price of the set and cannot be returned for a refund. The E27 light bulb can be ordered separately. If you want to create a U-shape, order one extra 90-degree connector. To create a T-shape, you need to order oneT-connector. The Aluminium rail can be cut to size using a hacksaw and mitre box. The rail has pre-drilled holes for easy installation. Any additional holes can be drilled.

If the power connection is in the middle, you can order thedouble-sided connection block separately. Please note that the rail has a width of 3.4 cm. If the central box in the ceiling is wider than the dimensions of the rail, choose asquare cover platefor a neat finish.

Choosing the right E27 light source

The track spotlights are complemented by an E27 LED light source. This has the advantage that you can choose the lamp that best suits your situation. We have a wide range of E27 lamps and there are many options available.

For E27 light bulbs, you can choose from:

• Dimmable E27 bulbs: with these bulbs, you can adjust the light intensity with a dimmer (not included).
• Dim-to-warm E27 bulbs: the light colour of these bulbs is 2200K (candlelight, 'extra' warm white) when dimmed and 2700K (warm white) when not dimmed.
• 3-step dimmable E27 bulbs: these bulbs have three light intensities and can be dimmed by pressing the on/off button several times (so you don't need a dimmer).
• WiFi E27 bulbs: a smart bulb that you can control with your smartphone for any desired colour and intensity. This allows you to turn your spotlights into smart spotlights.

The difference between a 1-phase and a 3-phase Track lighting system

In a 1-phase Track lighting system, all Track spotlights are connected to 1 group, making the Track more refined and suitable for consumer use. A 3-phase Track lighting system is more commonly used in shops and other commercial spaces. In this case, the Track spotlights can be switched on and off separately in 3 groups.
