Have you accidentally cut your Festoon lighting cable in two while pruning in the garden? Or has a cable broken? Don't worry, with this water-resistant connector you can easily repair the cable.
The connector has an IP67 rating and has been specially developed for our Festoon lighting cables to connect two parts together. The difference with other connectors on the market is that this connector has a flat rubber ring that fits snugly around the flat Festoon lighting cable. You connect the cables by stripping the 230V wiring in the rubber cable and connecting it to the terminal block in the connector. Unlike other connectors, no glue is required.
The IP67 rating makes this connector dustproof and water-resistant. This makes the connector suitable for use in damp areas, such as the garden and basement.
During installation, ensure that you switch off the power supply, connect the wires of the correct colours to each other and that the connector is properly sealed.
