The bulbs with E27 lampholders have a virtually unbreakable polycarbonate cover. The LED bulbs are energy efficient and have a long lifespan. In the unlikely event that a bulb breaks, you can easily replace it.
If you want to create soft mood lighting, it is best to choose 0.7 watt or 1 watt bulbs. For effective lighting, you can choose the 2 watt bulb. The light colour of white bulbs is expressed in Kelvin. We call 2000 Kelvin (2000K) 'extra' warm white. It is comparable to the colour of candlelight, the light is slightly more yellowish. 2650 Kelvin is the colour of an incandescent bulb, still warm white but slightly less yellowish. The 6500 Kelvin bulbs have a cool white colour. Kelvin is a spectrum where the lower the number, the warmer the colour. We sometimes have customers who find the 2000K too warm, but on the other hand, we also have customers who find the 2650K not warm enough. Fortunately, the vast majority of customers are satisfied with their initial choice of one of the two variants.
Please note! LED bulbs are only suitable for outdoor use in Festoon lighting cables that meet the following conditions:
Lampholder: The lampholder must be properly mounted on the cable. Are you using Festoon lighting cable from another supplier? Check whether it is suitable for our LED bulbs. If in doubt, blow into the fitting (without a bulb). Can you blow through it? Then your Festoon lighting cable is not suitable for LED bulbs. In that case, we recommend replacing it with a separate Festoon lighting cable that is suitable for LED bulbs.
Sealing rings: The fitting must have sealing rings and close correctly around the bulb. Consult the Manual.
