Product description

Please note! When purchasing the Julien 1-phase track spotlight, you will receive the new connector. If you have the old connector, please contact our Customer service.

In addition to commercial purposes, track lighting is also increasingly being chosen for homes. With its contemporary look, our modern range of track lighting fits perfectly with today's interior design trends and is a luxurious addition to your home. Take, for example, the elegant yet robust Julien model. The track spotlight is made of an Aluminium housing with a Matt black colour, which not only gives it a chic look but also makes it sturdy and high-quality. Aluminium also conducts heat, which is beneficial for the GU10 LED light source. So if you want a good light source without compromising on style, Julien is the right choice for you!

Our single-phase track lighting is a system consisting of three parts. Choose the right sizetrack, the desired number of spots, connectors, and you're ready to start installing! Need help connecting the system? Take a look at the manual.

The difference between a single-phase and a three-phase Track lighting system

In a single-phase Track lighting system, all spotlights are connected to one group, making the track more refined and suitable for consumer use. A three-phase Track lighting system is more commonly used in shops and other commercial spaces. In this case, the track spotlights can be switched on and off separately in three groups.

Choosing the right GU10 LED light source

The track spotlights are supplied without a GU10 LED bulb. This has the advantage that you can choose the bulb that best suits your situation. We have a wide range of GU10 bulbs and there are many options available. For example, you can choose a bulb with a narrow beam angle, allowing you to shine the light on a specific point in the room. Think of highlighting a work of art on the wall or the worktop in the kitchen. If you want to distribute the light more centrally, choose a wider beam angle. We also offer a choice of:

  • 2700K GU10 bulbs: warm white light colour, suitable for atmospheric catering establishments, the living room, kitchen and bedroom.
  • 4000K GU10 bulbs: White light colour, suitable for spaces where good visibility is important, such as offices and meeting rooms.
  • Dim-to-warm GU10 bulbs: with these bulbs, the light colour changes from 2700K (warm white) to 2200K (extra warm white/candlelight). This gives you flexibility in the lighting effect. The extra warm white light is ideal when you want to create a cosy atmosphere, and the warm white colour can be both atmospheric and functional, for example when reading a book.
  • Smart GU10 bulbs: a smart bulb that you can control with your smartphone. The app is free and is called 'Smart Life'. The app works on Android and iOS and is also compatible with Google Home and Amazon Alexa. Using the app, you can determine the colour and brightness of the spotlight and dim it.

You can also take a look at the complete overview ofall GU10 bulbs.

Information of colour temperature and wattage

The colour temperature of light is expressed in Kelvin. The lower the Kelvin value, the warmer the light. The higher this value, the whiter the light, with 6000K being comparable to the colour of daylight. Extra warm white light is ideal when you want to create a cosy atmosphere, and the warm white colour can be both atmospheric and functional, for example when reading a book. The wattage indicates the brightness of the bulb. From 1 watt and above, the light can be used for functional purposes. 1 watt is comparable to an 8-watt incandescent bulb. Choose less than 1 watt when the purpose of the lamp is mood lighting.
