The string features a solar panel with a battery that charges during the day; as soon as darkness falls, the bulbs switch on automatically thanks to the built-in light sensor. With the on/off button, you can switch the string on and off whenever you like, and an automatic timer switches the lighting off after 8 hours. You mount the solar panel on the wall or place it in the ground with the supplied ground spike, and you choose from four modes: steady, flashing, fast flashing, or double flashing.
