The small parts
For the handy DIYer, you will find everything from separate plugs and counter-plugs to sealing rings, connectors, mounting sets, cable ties and an end cap for the festoon cable. These are the parts you need to repair, adapt or extend your cable rather than replacing it. No electrical knowledge is required: all our products are easy to use and adjust.
Sealing rings: small but crucial
The sealing ring protects the connection between the bulb socket and the bulb against moisture. Without a sealing ring, your festoon cable is not protected against moisture where it matters most. If you have lost one while packing away after the summer, you can simply order a replacement separately here. When screwing in your bulbs, always check that the sealing ring sits properly around the bulb.
Connectors and plugs
With a connector, you can join two festoon cables together, allowing you to extend your setup without buying a completely new cable. Separate plugs and counter-plugs are useful when putting your own setup together or replacing a damaged plug. When extending your cable, make sure you do not exceed the maximum load: 15W per bulb socket and a maximum of 2300W per festoon cable.
Hanging
Hanging a festoon cable is easy. With our mounting sets or cable ties, you can attach the festoon cable securely. Do note that the end cap is not suitable for hanging the festoon cable from. If you do not have a façade or canopy to attach it to, take a look at our poles. If you want to position bulb sockets yourself, take a look at our separate E27 bulb sockets.
