What is a ceiling spotlight?
A ceiling spotlight is a practical way to add both general and directed lighting to your home. Our range includes a variety of spotlights in different styles and designs, with models made from materials such as metal and glass. Whether you prefer a modern, industrial or more understated look, there is a ceiling spotlight to suit your interior.
One spotlight or several?
A single ceiling spotlight is compact and directs light towards a specific area, making it useful above a worktop, in a hallway or beside a cabinet. Multi-light models have two or three rotatable spotlights on a single ceiling plate, allowing you to light several areas from one connection point. This is particularly useful if you only have one junction box in the ceiling but want to direct light in different directions.
Styles and materials
You’ll find ceiling spotlights in modern matt black, white for a more understated look, and industrial designs with visible details. Black and gold combinations are also available for a more refined look. As ceiling spotlights are fixed directly to the ceiling, the fitting remains visible. For more options, take a look at our surface-mounted spotlights. If you prefer to conceal the fitting, recessed spotlights are a better option.
Which bulb do you choose?
Most ceiling spotlights have a GU10 bulb fitting. The bulb is usually not included, so you can choose the brightness and appearance that suit your space. Choose a narrow beam angle to highlight a specific area, or a wide beam angle for broader lighting. For a cosy atmosphere, choose warm white light. The bulb fitting and size you need are always listed in the specifications.
