Black pendant lights work well in almost any interior. The black colour makes it easy to match the light with other colours. This has the advantage that you can focus on the specific shape and style of the light.
A Black pendant lamp for every interior
Because there are different types of interiors, we have a wide range of different black pendant lamps available. Unlike some other online shops, we have opted for a smaller range, so you don't have to search through hundreds of different models before you find the lamp that suits you best. We have done extensive research into the most popular models in the United Kingdom at the moment and have put together a specific range for this.
Which pendant lights are popular in black?
The following models and styles of Black pendant lamps are currently popular. You can read through the following categories, but feel free to browse our range above. A picture says more than a thousand words.
Pendant lights with Black metal or Black steel
As the name suggests, pendant lights with black metal or steel are lamps that have a metal shade. Because the shade is above the lamp, this type of pendant light is often good for illuminating a specific area of the room. These lights work well above a table, for example. Because the lighting angle of the shade can vary, it is a good idea to check this for each lamp.
Industrial Black pendant lights
Black pendant lights fit well with a more 'rough' interior. Industrial interiors often use simple colour combinations. As a result, many of our pendant lights fit well in an industrially designed home.
Black designer pendant lights
Black designer pendant lights are pendant lights with an interesting design. This means they don't just fit into any living room. But when they do fit, they will attract attention and create extra atmosphere in the room.
How do you install a pendant lamp?
Our pendant lights are connected to the mains, so you will need to connect them to the mains with a cable. In most cases, you will probably already have a hole in the Ceiling with electrical wires coming out of it. You can install the pendant light as follows:
- Switch off the power to the circuit where you will be installing the lamp. Then check this with a voltage tester.
- Secure the mounting bracket by turning the screws into the Ceiling.
- Connect the electrical wires. Connect the blue and black wires from the terminal block to the blue and black wires from the pendant lamp. It does not matter which wires go where.
- Attach the pendant lamp to the mounting bracket. You do this by screwing it onto the sides of the bracket.
- Tighten everything securely.
- Insert the bulb.
- Turn the power back on and check that it works.
