Cabinet lighting parts

For clarity, here are all the individual components that make up our cabinet lighting. Here are the components:

  • LED bulbs
  • Dimmer switch/sensor
  • Driver (transformer to connect the LED bulbs to the mains)

You can also purchase pre-assembled cabinet lighting sets.

Here are the different options:

LED bulbs: 

There are four different models: square (Alina), rectangular (Apollo), elongated (Lex) and round (Kaya).

Dimmer switch/sensor: 

  • Door sensor switch: thisdoor sensor can be connected to the LED lighting and driver. The sensor ensures that the lighting comes on when the door opens.
  • Wireless square touch dimmer: withthe touch dimmer, you can dim the lights by touching the dimmer.
  • Wireless round touch dimmer: sameas the square touch dimmer, but round.
  • Wireless touch dimmer with sensor:you can also dimthistouch dimmer by touching it. It also has a motion sensor, which turns on the lighting when you come close.

Transformers

Because LED lighting operates on 12 volts, you need a transformer to connect the lighting to the 230-volt mains supply.

  • Transformer max 33 watts: comeswith a 1.5 metre cable and is suitable for higher wattage
  • Transformer max 12 watts: comeswith 1 metre cable and is suitable for lower wattage
