Suitable bulb socket:

only use these LED bulbs in a festoon cable that is suitable for LED bulbs. All our festoon cables meet this requirement. Using a festoon cable from another supplier? Check whether it is suitable for LED bulbs before use.

Splash-proof:

check whether your existing festoon cable is splash-proof. Blow through the bulb socket (without a bulb fitted). If air passes through, the festoon cable is not splash-proof. In this case, we recommend replacing the festoon cable.

Sealing ring:

the bulb socket must have a sealing ring that fits tightly around the bulb. Refer to the installation guide for correct assembly.
