The OTG-KL-1 emergency lighting with transparent shade is one of our best-selling emergency lights due to its excellent price-quality ratio. Previously, this fixture was only available in white, but our range has now been expanded to include a black version.
The fixture is equipped with 16 LEDs. It comes with 4 pictograms with the following arrow directions: left, right, up and down. You can stick the pictogram that applies to your situation on the fixture yourself. The fixture has a transparent cover and a test button so you can manually check whether the battery is working. We also sell the battery pack in this fixture separately.
It is possible to order a separate icon set, consisting of 8 icons, with this fixture.
The LED emergency lighting can be mounted above doors, windows and on walls. In consultation with a specialist, you can determine how many places you need emergency lighting and how to mount it. Circles are marked on the back and four sides of the fixture that you can drill through. After drilling a hole, you can connect the wiring to the terminal block attached to the circuit board. This connects the fixture to the mains (230V). To make the hole resistant to water damage, you can install a PG9 strain relief in the drilled hole, through which you can then run the wiring. This protects the fixtures from water damage and also ensures that the cord cannot be disconnected from the terminal block.
The fixture is equipped with 16 LEDs. The fixtures can be set to continuous (permanent lighting) or emergency (non-permanent or non-continuous emergency lighting). If the fixture is set to continuous, the light will also remain on when there is no power failure. If you set the fixture to non-continuous, the light will only come on when the fixture is no longer receiving power from the mains and will then remain on for at least 3 hours. Three hours is usually sufficient for employees and visitors to leave a building and also falls within the legal standard.
All our emergency lighting is CE certified and complies with the standards and requirements applicable in the United Kingdom. The housing and diffuser are made of high-quality plastic.
